Sindh Lakhra Coal Mining Company (SLCMC), established by the Energy Department, Government of Sindh, is a key player in Pakistan’s coal sector focused on commercial mining and development projects. Operating over 13,000 acres around the Lakhra anticline, SLCMC oversees extraction from more than 100 mines, employing a highly qualified workforce. The company extracts and dispatches over 1,500 tons of coal daily.
With coal reserves of approximately 1.3 billion tons in the Lakhra coalfield, SLCMC supports the proficient utilization of indigenous energy resources to drive provincial socio-economic growth. It operates under core values of integrity, respect, and excellence, striving to emerge as a major energy sector contributor in Pakistan
